Questions

If the answer you need is not here, the contact page reaches a person.

Do I need an account to vote?

No. You enter an email address, type back the six-digit code we send, and the ballot unlocks. There is no password and no account to manage.

Why a code instead of a link?

Most voters arrive from Instagram or TikTok, inside the app's own browser. A link would open a different browser and lose your session. A typed code keeps you exactly where you are.

Can I change my ballot after submitting?

No. Submission is final and this is stated on screen before you confirm. It is the same rule for everyone, and it is what makes the count defensible.

Can I skip a category?

Yes. Partial ballots are allowed — vote in as many or as few of the nine categories as you like.

Why can I not see who is winning?

Live counts push voters toward whoever is already ahead and put unfair pressure on nominees. Every result is released together, with the full methodology, on ceremony night.

How is the winner decided?

Half the score comes from the public vote and half from a five-member jury scoring against a fixed rubric. The full formula is on the methodology page.

What happens to my email address?

It is stored encrypted, used only to verify you and send your ballot receipt, and deleted 90 days after the ceremony. See the privacy policy.

I did not receive my code.

Check your spam folder first. You can request a new code after sixty seconds. If the address was mistyped, use the "change email" link on the verification screen.
